Spinning with friends!
Over 170 spinners met on April 6 and 7 for the 51st annual Guild Spin-In. Participants were able to spin with old and new friends, shop the marketplace vendors, enjoy a presentation and workshop, and take part in the many other Spin-In activities. This year’s speakers were Anna Hosick-Kalahan and Jessica Schwab, owners and operators of Skagit Woolen Works. Their topic was Exploring Local Wool, and they covered it all – from selecting a fleece to spinning fiber from sheep that thrive in the Pacific Northwest.
Work has already begun on Spin-In 2025. More information will be available on this page in November or December.
