MARTHA TOTTENHAM
A member since 1986 Martha has been a quiet inspiration for us all. She promoted weaving as an outreach resource in the Anacortes schools, demonstrated at the Anacortes Arts Festival, and was actively involved in the Island County Fair. As Sunshine Chair she sent out hand-made cards. She participated in the design, execution, and setting up of many ANWG Booths and often won awards for the Guild. A huge contributor to UCT, Martha was on the original team as a vendor, setup, display, and Standards Committee and the first to volunteer to teach at the 2015 WWG Retreat. She organized our Show and Tell from her desire for all members to show their works – the good, the not so good, the things that didn’t work, and how it can be fixed —for all of us to learn from.
