THE 2023 AUCTION WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! It’s always fun to gather together, sort through fiber-related tools, equipment, books, raw fiber, yarn, yarn and more yarn! The Auction netted the Guild more revenue than past years which is used throughout the year to provide benefits and services to Guild members.
Thanks to the great team that sorted and displayed all the treasurers, handled the auction bids, took our money and entertained us with the live auction! And, of course, a huge thank you to Nancy Baggott for her years of service as Auction chair. She has graciously stored our donations in her attic and organized this event which goes off every year without a hitch.
Welcome to our new Auction co-chairs! Joan Chapdelaine and Tracy Hagel. Thanks to you both for graciously stepping up to spearhead this great annual Guild event.
The Auction is a win-win-win event. You pass along items that have been taking up space in your closet, someone gets an item they can use, and the Guild raises money that benefits the members. And, it’s great fun. What’s not to like about that?
